Jill Moses is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) and mom of 2! She graduated from the Steinhardt School of Education at New York University, with bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education, Special Education and Psychology. She graduated, with honors, from New York University's Graduate program with a master's degree in Literacy.
She first joined the special needs community as a Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) providing in-home and center based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. She then became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Florida Institute of Technology, and is currently with the Department of Education for District 75, teaching a 6:1:1 autism class.
In 2010, Jill founded Village Playday after working with many families of children with special needs and seeing their daily struggle. She noticed the one thing they all had in common is the need for time and an extra set of hands. Time for their friends, time for their partners, time for themselves! They needed help so they could attend meetings, attend trainings, cook, clean, shower, relax, nap, read, go out, stay in, or just breathe!
As a member of New York State Applied Behavior Analysis (NYSABA), Association of Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA), and former elected United Federation of Teachers (UFT) delegate, Jill is a lifelong learner in love with the special education community!
"In the last 8 years we have helped so many NYC families find safe, reliable and professional child care for their children with special needs. I am so honored to continue our part in helping support current and future Village Playday families! Be well and remember; Happy Parents, Happy Kids!"
